Does car insurance cover rental cars?

Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance’s Personal Auto Policy contains something called Transportation Expenses Coverage, which is commonly known as rental car coverage on the base policy. This coverage provides a maximum of $20/day for a maximum of 30 days for a rental car in the event of a covered Collision or Other than Collision loss, though higher limits are available via Endorsement.
