United Home Life Insurance Company (UHL) is among a select group of insurance companies that have maintained an A (Excellent) rating or higher from AM Best for 65 consecutive years. AM Best cited the recent merger of two life entities into the remaining UHL, strong capital position and high-quality product mix as key factors in its evaluation.
The property and casualty company, United Farm Family Mutual Insurance Company (UFFM), also received an affirmation of its A (Excellent) rating for the sixth year in a row. This affirmation is particularly significant as the company experienced its highest direct weather losses in company history during the past year. The rating from AM Best validated the company’s disciplined approach to risk management and commitment to policyholder service.
