Keep your farm, loved ones and yourself safe with these grain bin safety tips.

  • Read and follow the safety instructions provided in the owner’s manuals
  • Keep an eye out for children and pets while mowing
  • Always use eye and ear protection when operating lawn equipment
  • Use tip guard on a chainsaw to help prevent kick-back
  • Start the chainsaw on the ground or on another firm form of support. Do not drop-start a chainsaw
  • Pick up any trash and debris prior to mowing. Ensure the chainsaw’s cutting path is clear of rocks, debris and limbs
