About me
As the owner of the Jake Johnson Agency with Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, I am here to help protect what matters most to you and your family. My experience as a U.S. Navy hospital corpsman and later as a business leader in operations and financial consulting taught me that caring for people in critical moments requires both compassionate thought and action. I bring that same protective approach to insurance, and I'm passionate about helping you navigate life's uncertainties by creating plans that safeguard your family, property and financial future. I graduated from Farmington Central High School in Illinois and earned degrees in psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and audio engineering from Full Sail University. I served five years in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, where I was named Sailor of the Year for the Southeast Navy Region and received five Sailor of the Quarter awards along with two Congressional Awards. I live in Ellettsville with my wife, Emma, and our two dogs. When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me coaching Little League baseball playing slow-pitch softball staying involved with the American Legion, 4-H and FFA or enjoying the outdoors through fishing and hunting. I love staying connected to my community, making music, and helping families build the security and peace of mind they deserve.
