Meet Tom Hertges

With more than 30 years of experience and now as the owner of the Hertges Agency, I understand how important my role is in protecting your property and your loved ones. Throughout my career at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, I have earned multiple company-sponsored awards for sales and service, including the prestigious Premier Agent designation seven times and being a Top Ten agent. My wife, Allison, and I live in LaPorte with our four children. We attend St. Joseph Catholic Church. I am a 28-year committee member and former chairman of Kankakee Valley Ducks Unlimited. Outside the office, I enjoy farming, gardening, fishing, water and snow skiing and golfing. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University in supervisory management.
