About me

As your local Washington County agent for more than 25 years, I have the knowledge to help protect you and your family. I joined Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance in 1992 as a customer service representative and became an agent in 1995. My husband, Mark, and I live in Salem and have two children, Mariah and Myron. We attend First Christian Church where I have served as treasurer and bookkeeper. Active in our local community, I am an assistant t-ball coach and have also served as the director of the Washington County Teen Pageant in 2003. Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with family, playing softball, running and both watching and coaching Little League Baseball. I earned an associate’s degree from Ivy Tech Community College. It’s important for me to get to know you and your insurance needs, so don’t hesitate to reach out!

What is gap insurance and do I need it?

As we continue to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the things that has returned to normal is the number of cars on the road. During the pandemic, there were fewer cars on the road and many drivers often drove faster because of the decrease in traffic. Unfortunately, some drivers became accustomed to driving faster in decreased traffic, and what we are seeing now is an increase in not only the number of accidents, but in their severity, as well.
