About me
As the owner of the Joel Spaw Agency, I know how vital my role is in helping you protect your property and your loved ones. Getting to know you and your insurance needs is important to me. It’s my goal to help you understand what you have and what you need when it comes to protection, so don’t hesitate to reach out! My wife, Valerie, and I live in Waterloo with our three kids: Savanna, Anderson, and Desmond. We attend Pathway Community Church in Fort Wayne. Outside the office, I love being in the outdoors and spending time with my family and friends. I graduated from East Noble High School and attended the University of Saint Francis and Indiana Wesleyan University. Throughout my time at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, I’ve earned multiple awards for sales and service, including a Rookie of the Year award.

Old Man Winter is finally gone and now the weather is beckoning us to come outside. There are many benefits to being active, so let’s use the weather as an excuse to get outside and get moving. No matter your age, we should all be moving at least 30 minutes per day. The time you spend being active does not have to feel like a chore. It can be fun and doesn’t have to be exercise; it can simply be playing, exploring or connecting with the people you care about.
