About me

As your local Tippecanoe County agent for more than 13 years, I have the knowledge to keep you and your family protected. I joined Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance after owning and operating a family business for 11 years. I enjoy meeting with people, analyzing risk, and ensuring my clients have the protection they need. My husband, Todd, and I live on a farm outside Linden, caring for our cattle, sheep, goats and horses. We have two daughters and six grandchildren. Active in our community, I have served as a board member and treasurer of the Tippecanoe County 4-H Horse and Pony Club and the Town of Shadeland. Outside the office, I love camping, rodeos, auctions and spending time with family and friends. I am a Benton Central High School graduate and attended Purdue University, where I studied computer technology. It’s essential to have the right coverage, so don’t hesitate to reach out.

What is an introvert vs. extrovert

Introverts in the workplace. We’re here, and we have a ton to offer – if you get us and if you know how to approach us. I am an introvert. My name is Laura Aman, a unit claims coordinator at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, and I am approaching nearly 35 years at this company. (insert the big round eyes emoji). Even though I’m an introvert, and though I’m not as outspoken as my extroverted colleagues, I still have a ton to offer and enjoy working wide a wide variety of people who work in different ways than me.

    Winter driving safety tips

Protect you, your loved ones and your car from the wrath of Old Man Winter. According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, 43% of all weather-related accidents occur in winter conditions. That means during the winter months it’s imperative to be smart on the road and take care of the vehicle you will be driving in during these hazardous times.

    What is a cover crop?

As fall turns to winter, the combines that have harvested the crops are tucked away in barns and the vast fields are empty until spring. But are they really empty? If you look across Indiana, you may not find the brown of plowed fields or harvested crops, instead you may find fields of green. That green field is the newest crop and tool that farmers are using today to help protect the environment and be more sustainable--cover crops.
