About me

As your local Greene County agent, I am eager to meet with you and help you map your personal insurance plan. Before joining Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, I taught public school for 22 years, including 13 years at Linton-Stockton schools. Throughout my time at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, Ive earned multiple awards for sales and service, including being recognized as a top ten agent three times. I am also honored to be part of an agency that has earned the title of top agency in the state. I live in Linton with my wife, Christy, and our three sons: Wade, Luke and Reid. We attend Linton First Christian Church where I serve as a deacon. Active in our community, I am a director in the Linton Civitan Club and the treasurer of the Linton Youth Baseball League. I also previously served as the local president of the Indiana State Teachers Association and was active in Hall Farms Inc., one of the largest produce farms in the state for more than 35 years. Outside the office, I enjoy coaching youth football, baseball and basketball right here in the Linton community. I earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Evansville and a master’s degree from Indiana State University. It’s important for me to get to know you and your insurance needs, so don’t hesitate to reach out!

What is a beneficiary and why is it important?

When my dad Doug passed away unexpectedly in 2017, he left behind two daughters, the family business and a house full of books and Phillies baseball memorabilia. He also had a couple of life insurance policies and an Individual Retirement Annuity (IRA), on which he named my sister and me as the primary beneficiaries.
