Gavin was a collegiate-level athlete. playing football and baseball at Wabash College, where he earned his bachelor's degree in psychology. He went on to play football at Northern Illinois University while earning his master's degree in sports management. Outside the office, Gavin enjoys sports, "mopar" automotive and military aviation. He resides in Greenfield and attends Wilkinson Church of Christ.
