David Whitcomb

About me

As your local Allen County agent, I understand the importance of helping my clients prepare for the unexpected, having experienced major losses myself. I am passionate about sharing how my experience can help my clients, while building trusted relationships and helping my local community. My wife, Casey, and I live in Fort Wayne and have two adult daughters. We attend City Church in Fort Wayne and enjoy taking part in all that the local community has to offer. Outside the office, I enjoy camping, hiking, backpacking and exploring nature whenever possible. I have also gotten into amateur woodworking and repurposing and building wood furniture. I constantly set goals to challenge and motivate myself. Some of these accomplishments include completing an Ironman distance triathlon, a 50k winter trail run and six marathons. Also, more than 18 years after completing my associate’s degree, I went back to school to finish my bachelor’s degree and earned an MBA from Indiana Technical Institute, all while working full-time.
