(Indianapolis) – July 15, 2026 – Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance is excited to announce that Jason Kaeppel has been promoted to director of sales and operations for the company’s Agency Owner program. Kaeppel began his new role on July 1, 2026.

The company’s Agency Owner program provides a path for entrepreneurs to own and operate their own independent-style insurance agency under the Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance brand, allowing them to build equity in their book of business while selling Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance products. In his new role, Kaeppel will lead and support members of the program, working with agency owners, sales leaders and field partners to strengthen sales performance, improve business planning and help grow the program across Indiana.

Kaeppel joined Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance in 2006. During his time with the company, he has held several roles, including agent, agency manager, director of marketing and growth initiatives and, most recently, district sales director. His broad experience across the organization has given him a deep understanding of the business and a strong foundation for this new chapter.

"I am excited to continue building on the strong foundation of the Agency Owner program and to work alongside agency owners and sales leaders across the state," said Kaeppel. "This role gives me the opportunity to help develop people, strengthen business practices and support growth in a meaningful way."

At the heart of Kaeppel's vision for the role is a commitment to developing the people around him.

"My goal is to help agency owners become stronger business leaders while creating more consistency, accountability and support within the program," said Kaeppel. "I hope to make a positive impact by helping our teams grow, serve clients well and build long-term success for Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance."

Kaeppel earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana State University and his MBA from Anderson University.

Originally from Delphi, Kaeppel now lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Jen, and their three children: Drew, Kendall and Jackson. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching, hiking, fishing and spending time with his family.
