4 Fun Spots for the 4th
Fireworks Downtown Indianapolis

Looking for fun, local Fourth of July fun? Whether you are in rural Bartholomew County or Evansville, Hoosiers know how to throw great Independence Day celebrations! Take a look at these four entertaining options or visit your local community calendar or visitors center.

  1. Take me out to the ballgame as the Fort Wayne TinCaps host Lake County on July 4. Game starts at 6:05 p.m.

  2. The Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site in Indianapolis understands traditions. Enjoy the Independence Day Ice Cream Social with activities including a first floor tour, face paintings, balloon animals, a scavenger hunt and more.

  3. Come celebrate with the Indianapolis Indians at Victory Field. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., and the first 12,000 fans receive a rally towel. The first pitch is at 6:15 p.m.  The excitement doesn’t stop there; stay after for an Indian’s fireworks display.

  4. America in the summer at its best, the Madison Regatta Gold Cup and Roostertail Music Festival features three days of food, racing, music and more in Madison July 4-7.
