Since becoming an Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance agent in 1978, Monroe County’s Gene Shaw has earned many accolades for sales and service. The Bloomington native is past president of Business Network International and Life Underwriters Association, which awarded him numerous National Quality Awards. Gene attended Indiana University, where he majored in forensic science and minored in business administration. He also attended Purdue University’s Estate Planning School and has completed courses as a Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF). Gene is a Registered Representative and offers securities products and services through FBL Marketing Services, LLC. Gene resides in Bloomington and is active in the Bloomington Northside Exchange Club, where he served as past president. In his free time, Gene enjoys collecting firearms and is an auto enthusiast.
