Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc. formed an insurance company in 1934 to offer insurance products to farmers. Soon after, insurance products were available in urban, suburban and rural areas. Because we have offices and staff in all 92 Indiana counties, our employees and agents are involved members of their communities. This enables them to more closely know your needs.
While the opportunity to purchase property and casualty insurance - including policies for your vehicles, home, business and farm - is perhaps Indiana Farm Bureau's most well-known member benefit, there are many other substantial savings and discount programs available. Indiana Farm Bureau members save over $2 million each year by using the discounts and services available to them through their membership. This includes savings on everything from prescription drugs to vision care to computers...just to name a few.
For a full listing of these programs and other member benefits, please visit www.infarmbureau.org.
Accidental Death Benefit Coverage
Indiana Farm Bureau Members receive $2,000 worth of coverage, at no additional cost.
This simply means that a $2,000 death benefit will be paid in a lump sum to the surviving spouse or, in situations where there is no surviving spouse, to the estate of the individual in whose name the membership is listed. The member's spouse and/or family members are not covered by this insurance. Corporate members are also not covered. This benefit will be paid if death is a result of bodily injury due to an accident and occurs within 90 days of the accident. Of course, the deceased member must have a current paid membership with Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc. Some limitations, exclusions, and qualifications apply and are available from your Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance agent.
This membership provides additional benefits to you and your family beyond our "Primary Membership" program.
We've introduced a new benefit exclusively to our Membership Select program members.
Through a partnership with United Farm Family Life Insurance Company, Indiana Farm Bureau Inc. now provides a Common Carrier Accidental Death benefit to Select members. This coverage provides $10,000 of life insurance, per covered insured, for accidental death while traveling as a fare-paying passenger on public transportation (e.g. airplane, taxi, bus, train, cruise ship, etc.).
