INDIANAPOLIS – The annual Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance eXceL Awards competition deadline for entries is January 25, 2008. All Indiana high school students who excel in various forms of artistic expression are invited to enter. Winners will be awarded college scholarships. Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance established the eXceL Awards in 1989. The company continues to fund and administer the program, which awarded $73,000 in scholarship prizes during last year’s competition.
Secrets is the topic for the 2007-2008 competition. Students can enter their original and creative interpretation of Secrets in one of six categories: writing, music, two-dimensional art, three-dimensional art, video or performance.
Students will find program participation information on the Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Web site at www.infarmbureau.com/Excel. Entry forms will be submitted online, also.
Entries may be submitted during regular business hours from January 18–25, 2008, at any local Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance office.
