Each year The Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance
eXceL Awards (formerly Project XL) challenges 9th-12th grade students to address important social issues through their work in one of six categories: writing, video art, two-dimensional art, three-dimensional art, original music or performance art.
The
eXceL Awards are sponsored and funded entirely by Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance. There are no entry fees for students or schools.
Risk was the topic for 2006/2007. Over 5200 entries were submitted in 2006/2007 from 240 high schools in Indiana, as well as from numerous home schools.
