December 10, 2007
Good news! The entry form is in final testing and working well, so we will have the entry form LIVE on December 17! Since this is our first year (yours and mine) using electronic entry forms, please keep the following in mind (and I will repeat this again and again at the entry form site, in the rules, in the FAQs on the "official" page, etc.):
- You need to be connected to a printer when you complete and submit your entry form. The reason for this is that the entry form will need your signature and that of a teacher, as well as those of any partners you may have. Also, you will need to attach that completed form to your physical entry when you submit it, so take care not to lose it!
- All the information will need to be completed. The form is secure; as an insurance company, we are subject to confidentiality and privacy laws, and as such take great care to protect and safeguard your information. If there is a problem with any entry or if you are a winner, for example, we need to be able to reach you, and the more options you provide us (i.e. phone, e-mail, address) the easier the process will be.
- The form will be live through the last day of submissions. At the close of business on Friday, January 25, 2008, the form will go away for another year, as no entries will be accepted after the close of business at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance on January 25, 2008. That time varies by local office, so visit our website, www.infarmbureau.com to find out what time your local office closes. There will be no exceptions.
