A first, second and third place winner will be named in each of the six
eXceL Awards competition categories at the State Finals. Round winners will also receive prizes.
eXceL Awards prizes will be awarded as follows:
Category first place winners will receive $3,000 each
Category second place winners will receive $2,500 each
Category third place winners will receive $2,000 each
State Finals Best of Show will receive an additional $1,000
Round One winners will receive a Certificate of Achievement and an
eXceL Awards keychain; Round Two winners will receive an
eXceL Awards T-shirt; Round Three winners will receive an
eXceL Awards messenger bag.
The Indiana high school with the highest total number of entries advancing to the state finals will receive a $3,000 cash prize. State winners will receive scholarship awards at a banquet to be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the beautiful Indiana State Museum in the historic canal district of downtown Indianapolis.
Please note: While there is no limit to the number of students that may work on a single entry, only three students per entry are eligible to receive awards, prize money and an invitation to the Celebration of Youth banquet. Any participants in addition to those listed on the entry form should be made aware of this rule.
All certificates, keychains, and T-shirts will be sent to participating high schools by Friday, March 28, 2008.
