All video art footage must be original in concept and execution and produced by the student(s).
Any entries that contain pre-produced video elements from an outside or professional source will be disqualified.
Due to legal and ethical concerns, no copyrighted music may be used in the entry without appropriate licensure. A number of alternate options exist for music, and limited guidance about some of these options is available here. Copies of licenses/permissions for sountrack music must be submitted with the entry.
Entries must be tasteful and suitable for showing to a large audience, including children.
All entries must address the topic of Perspective. While it is not required to enclose an exposition of the video, it is acceptable.

Special attention should be paid to the sound quality of each entry. Contestants should be aware that many home video cameras have very poor microphone quality and should plan accordingly.

Video art entries will not be returned. Please make a copy before submitting.
